Making Shamrock Smoothies!
Grace made shamrock smoothies today for St. Patrick's Day by blending together two bananas, some vanilla yogurt, a little milk, and spinach. When Grace was an infant I used to puree banana & spinach and banana & kale together for a healthy treat (these combinations really are yummy!!). Adding the spinach was a natural way to color the smoothie green and it also added a healthy nutritional boost. In the picture above, Grace is eating frozen spinach ~ what a lucky Mommy I am to have a child who loves green veggies! Grace poured the left over smoothie into popsicle molds so that we can enjoy shamrock popsicles tomorrow.

The smoothies sound yummy. Grace is lucky to have a Mommy like you, Rebecca, that introduced her to all the best things in life! Cooking with Grace ~ sounds like a book! I love to see children learning through fun activities.
