This morning I taped together long sheets of white paperand placed them on our kitchen floor. Grace, Jack, and I then randomly squeezed lots of different colors of paint onto the paper and gently covered the entire surface with Saran wrap. Grace and Jack then finger painted in a whole new way! They both enjoyed spreading the paint on the paper underneath the Saran wrap with their fingers and hands. Adding the Saran wrap provided Grace and Jack with a new sensation while finger painting. It also helps to strengthen hand muscles since it takes much more work to spread the paint. Another added bonus is that there is very little clean upwith this type of finger painting. :)

I bet that Jack and Grace loved painting this way. I can almost feel the coolness of the paint as it would spread out. What a great idea, Rebecca! You are always amazing. Such lucky children! Love, Maddy
I wish all children could be afforded the early sensory activites that you afford your children every day with love... I think it would eliminate special education all together!!!!!!
