Easter Egg Sound Cylinders

Today I made sound eggs for Grace. I filled five blue eggs with different materials ~ oatmeal, lentils, rice, marbles, and cotton balls. I filled five orange eggs with the same materials so that each blue egg would have an orange sound match. To do this activity, Grace first picked up a blue egg, shook it, and then picked up an orange egg and shook it. Grace continued to pick up orange eggs until she found the same sound match for the blue egg. Grace loved this activity!

Grace, I bet that you aced this game. Will you be bringing it with you on Easter? You could show us how to play.
Rebecca, what a motivating way to promote listening skills. Very clever!

Oh, this was fun! I hope that you do bring your eggs to Memere and Pepere home, I know that they would LOVE to play this with you, along with Rose and Kimberlee!
Rebecca, what a Mommy, you are. Taking such simple things as plastic eggs and turing them into an activity that creates learning and fun and the Easter theme. I can't wait to see you and spend time with you and squeeze you, too.
I am REALLY, REALLY missing you.
Full of Mom Love & Maddy Love

PS~Love Grace in the bunny ears!
