Grace told me this morning that she was going into to our art room to work on a "very special project" while I was getting Jack and Eve dressed. I discovered Grace's project later this morning. Grace had made this sweet note for Eve to celebrate her six month birthday today. Grace had taped it onto Eve's door to surprise her baby sister!

It's a real important job to be the oldest in a family. You were just meant to be the person holding that role in your family. You are a teacher, a friend, a helper, and the paver-of-the-way. I think you are so wonderful and that heart of yours is filled right up to the tippy top with so much love. I admire all that you are and I am so happy to be your Maddy. I love watching you grow and I can only imagine what is in store. Continue to take good care of Jack and Eve and Mommy and Daddy, too!
