Twenty Six Months Old

In the picture below Grace is, "Doing the splits!"
Gracie girl is twenty six months old today! Wherever Grace goes people are drawn to her. Grace is full of fun and so full of personality. It is difficult to fully describe Grace in words ~ you have to meet her to get the full scope of Grace. Grace always brings a smile to everyone she meets. She is such a social little girl who truly loves people. Grace also loves everything that life has to offer. One of the many things we love so much about Grace is her amazing sense of humor. Maddy coined the word "Grace-isms," which describes the many very funny phrases that Grace uses. She keeps us laughing all the time!

Here is an update all about Amazing Grace:

  • Grace learns the location and name of countries of the world and states in the U.S. very quickly and easily. She now knows over 40 countries and nearly 40 states.
  • Grace can recite all 12 months of the year in their correct order.
  • Grace continues to count in French and Spanish and is learning to count in Hindi (Thank you, Sarah).

  • Grace recites the author's name in all of her books.
  • Grace is reading and spelling new words every day!
  • Grace does a great job with rhyming words.
  • Grace loves engaging in pretend play scenarios. We go to NYC every day.

Grace,
You are amazing! I love to watch you learn, teach and grow... What joy and fun you bring to those you touch... You are learning all about other languages, countries and cultures and I have no doubt that one day, we'll be reading your blog as you head off to explore, discover and change all 7 continents. Godspeed, dearest Grace...
Hugs from Vermont,
Donna

Rebecca is so very correct when she talks about how you must see Grace in person to truly get an appreciation for her. It was so pleasurable for me to simply watch her during seemingly simple everyday moments. She has such an inviting spirit about her. Sometimes I wish we could suspend her in time, because she is growing up so fast! It is also wonderful that Grace, with everything she has going on inside her, extends herself outside for friendship.

How my goodness, how true. There is just something about this little girl that you have to see to believe! People are drawn to Grace everywhere she goes. I can't even imagine what she has in store for us next. Great Grandma and I talk about Grace all the time and she constantly tells me that she thinks Grace knows more than she does! When Grace comes for a visit next, I want to have a silly day and laugh and laugh with her! I think that Grace comes out with the funniest things I have ever heard! She can be serious abut learning, sweet about helping, generous about giving, and so funny about the little things in life! The world needs more Grace-sims (me, too!)
I absolutely adore this little girl with my whole heart, Maddy

Got Gracie, Jack & Eve?
