The Leger Family Celebrates!
When we woke up this morning we checked the weather so we could plan our day. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw on weather.com that it was 50 degrees so we all ran outside (Grace, Jack, and I were all still in our pajamas!) to celebrate!!! From the looks of it one would think we have never experienced "warm" weather before. Grace celebrated by flying through the warm air with Daddy. The look on Jack's face this morning was priceless as he experienced his first extended period of time outside. He kept looking up at the sky and up at our tall pine trees with a look of pure joy and amazement. Our winter has been so cold that Jack has only been outside for brief periods of time so this was his first real outdoor experience. A few hours later the cold north wind returned and we all bundled up again but we will never forget our early morning celebration!

Frolicking outdoors!
Now, whenever I hear the term "Spring Fever" I'll know just what it looks like! Aaahhh, however brief, the feeling of warmer weather is delightful. Jack is so getting ready for times to come. And, Grace, remembering her outdoor times! And, Bob, letting it all go!! Just a perfect Sunday morning. Loving seeing it!

Yes us fellow New Englanders know how to take advantage of brief intervals of warmth during the l o n g winter. I have seen rare glimpses of bare arms in t-shirts at work lately. People are trying to rush spring's arrival. Nice to see that the Legers enjoyed some comfortable temps outside.

The celebration looks like one done on May Day, dancing and twirling around the May Pole,
full of joy. Happiness can be found in the simplest things if we are in tune with the moment, which you certainly were. Jack's response to the outdoors seems typical of a true Mainer. Grace definitely enjoys her time outside.
As she is held high, she looks like she's getting ready for the Olympics. Such strength! You too, Rob.
Oh, happy days! Oh, happy family!
XOXOXO,
Memere
