...Shrinky Dinks! Maddy introduced Grace, Jack, and I to Shrinky Dinks this week during her lovely visit with us. Grace and Jack had a great time drawing on the plastic Shrinky Dink sheets. After their drawings were completed we put the sheets into the oven. We watched the drawings magically shrink to 1/3rd of their original size. Grace drew adorable pictures of people and Jack made beautiful drawings using a black marker. We punched a hole in Grace and Jack's drawings in order to make them into necklace pendants. I put Grace and Jack's pendants together on a necklace and it is something that I will wear everyday. I will post pictures of it soon - it is something that I will always treasure. Maddy made a special pendant for Grace to wear, which is pictured above. Maddy and I had the best time with this project too!!! Thank you so much, Maddy, for introducing us to such a fun idea.

Grace you look so beautiful wearing the necklace. Didn't we have the best time together making charms for necklaces and magnets? I am wearing the ones you and Jack made for me, too. I treasure them. I'll take a picture so you can see them on me.
I love, love, love doing projects with Jack and Grace. The time together, sitting, talking, planning, and creating is just what being a Maddy is all about to me. These are the best-of-times. Making sweet memories.
