After the warm weather we had last week, I packed away all of Grace's warmer jackets thinking that the colder weather was finally behind us. How very silly of me! Everyone in Maine knows to keep fleece coats, hats, and even the mittens readily available until at least July! Every morning Grace & I take a walk to the lake across from our house. This is one of Grace's very favorite things to do. Today we bundled up for our always beautiful walk. Along the way Grace and I collect "big ocks" (big rocks) to throw in the water. Grace loves throwing the rocks into the lake to see the big "spash" (splash) that they make. The bigger the splash the better! This is a special time that Grace and I share together and is something that we both look forward to each morning.

What a special way to enjoy each other and each new day we are blessed with. We just got a double stroller and can't wait to start going on daily walks. (Mommy just needs to get up and out.) We are almost on a "normal" functioning daily routine =) Anyway, enjoy all your walks and rock throwing.

Spring or Fall?
Were we visiting just last week?
We feel confused. Doesn't a week make a world of difference? Once we thought more about it we decided that it is what "Absolutely April" is all about. A weather mixed up month. We love it that Grace experienced it to it's fullest!
The walks to the lake and the rocks and the splashes are priceless. We love the way Grace greets all her friends along the way, the big dogs, the pine neddles, the mailboxes and the basketball hoops. We are missing all these things SO much. Keep walking and rock throwing for us.
