Celebrating Flag Day

On Friday we celebrated Flag Day by making flag pictures and paintings.  We had fun that morning learning all about the history of our flag and ended the day making these red, white and blue paintings.  This was supposed to be Grace's last day of kindergarten but sadly she was home sick with a case of strep throat.

Here are just a few of our Flag Day creations!

I am so proud and grateful that Grace, Jack, and Eve celebrate the great country in which they were born. They look so patriotic in their outfits and are so creative in their crafting. It's a wonderful celebration of their inheritance of freedom, liberty, and a people for work to preserve them.

XOXOXO,

Love all the ways the children made a flag! I can hear the counting of the 50 stars all the way here with Gracie and Jack leading and Eve following right along!

It's wonderful to see all the flags hanging up on your door...love it!!

Love, Maddy
