Handmade Painted Ornaments

We enjoyed a full day at home today, which meant staying in our pajamas ALL DAY. Yeah! Grace and Jack had fun making ornaments for our Christmas tree this morning. To make these ornaments we first took the tops off of empty plastic Christmas balls. Grace and Jack each chose 2-3 paint colors and filled the inside their balls with paint using a funnel. The tops were placed back on the ornaments so Grace and Jack could shake and swirl the balls in order to spread the paint around inside.

Grace and Jack couldn't wait to hang their ornaments on our Christmas tree.

Here is one of Grace and Jack's finished ornaments that is hanging on our tree. I love how their ornaments resemble marbleized glass. They are so pretty!

They are waaaay beyond pretty!!

I love them! And, I'm talking about Grace and Jack!! Oh, yes, the ornaments are outstanding, also! Those colors, wow--another idea that I am in~love with, Rebecca.

Those children in their red pajamas look just like a Christmas card. It must have been such a sweet day in your cozy, nurturing, homey environment.

I can't get enough of Jack's hands covered in paint. Grace must have loved helping Jack, I can only imagine!

Love to Our Little Elves,
Maddy

ps...just for a SPLIT second, Rebecca, I thought that the balls were made of glass...I know your smiling about that right now!!
