We did not zip our butterfly net completely yesterday and look who found their way out! I happened to be walking by and spotted our monarch caterpillar crawling out. I'm quite certain he or she was in search of the perfect place to build their chrysalis because a few hours later we found this...
..a chrysalis! This is very exciting news for our monarch loving family.

What an adventure for your family! I am so happy that you get to experience all of the stages and soon a beautiful Monarch will appear. Looking forward to seeing if it is a girl or a boy! I go crazy-wild for those gold beads on the chrysalis! Just part of the sheer beauty of it all!
