Our Happy Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween. We started off the day by going to music group. It was great fun for Grace and Jack to hear their music teacher sing, "Hello to the cowgirl and cowboy" rather than "Grace" and "Jack!" All of the children were dressed in their costumes, which added to the fun. We then enjoyed a nice lunch together and spent the remainder of our Halloween day at Smiling Hill Farm. The highlight was going on a tractor ride to a pumpkin patch where Grace and Jack got to pick a pumpkin. We stopped on our way home to get a very big pumpkin for our jack-o'-lantern. During dinner Daddy carved the pumpkin while Grace and Jack watched wide-eyed. After dinner and bath time we gathered outside on our deck to see our jack-o'-lantern glow. It was a very happy Halloween for us!
