Rolling!

Since learning to roll from her back to her tummy on March 16, our Gracie girl can't be stopped! Here are some pictures of Grace rolling over on her play mat.

Hooray Grace!!!

Not even 5 months? And you are rolling over! You are amazing, Grace. I can't wait to meet you when you come to Vermont again. I missed you by two days the time you came and surprised Maddie. I want you to meet my granddaughter, Harper. You both are doing great things. I love your Maddie, and you look like her. Looking forward to seeing you. Love seeing your pictures.

Grace is on a roll and there is no stopping her. Oh, the places that she will go! What a happy girl!
You wonder if she's as proud of herself as her parents and grandparents are.
Love you beautiful baby -

Memere said "Oh, the places that she will go!" I remember that Memere and Pepere and Dr. Seuss said the same thing about about Bob the FIRST day that he got on the school bus! And we have a picture of it. We were right about Bob, and Memere is right about Gracie too! Keep that happy smile all through your life sweetheart!

Ever since Tuesday, when I first saw these wonderful pictures I have been thinking of the word roll! Swiss roll, monkeys in the bed rolling over, poppy seed roll, jelly roll, tootsie roll, roll the dice, drum roll, and a bank roll.
So here is a little of what I came up with. Just "roll" along with me as you read this!

There was Grace playing on her mat,
when she thinks roll over,
roll over....
So she rolls over once and Grace thinks roll over,
roll over (again)
So she rolls over again,
and thinks I will just begin,
to do this over again and again...
roll over, roll over..........

Tootsie roll
Lolli-pop
You are rolling,
And will never stop.

Bloom and grow, my dearest Grace, for you are one amazing girl.
Love your rolling,
Just like Tina Turner's--Rolling Down the River
Your Maddy
