Honoring Dr. Seuss with Thing 1904, Thing 1695 and Thing 3!

Grace, Jack and Eve made their own shirts to celebrate Dr. Seuss's 109th birthday on Saturday.  They painted their hands to make Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss's Cat in the Hat book on the back of their shirts.  Grace decided to write Thing 1904 on her Thing (she thought this was so very funny!).  Jack wanted his to be Thing 1695 (his favorite number) and Eve wanted hers to say Thing 3!  More pictures of our Dr. Seuss shirts and Read Across America Day coming soon!

Great shirts, so cute. Dr. Seuss would have been impressed, as we are. Another great memorable experience in creativity.

Grace, Jack, and Eve are so serious in this pose, but I have this feeling, that as soon as they heard the click, Thing 1904,
Thing 1695, and Thing 3 burst forth. It's hard to keep that
energy contained.

XOXOXO,
Memere

I am smiling across the miles at the "Thing Numbers" that Jack, Eve, and Grace chose! Just leave it to the kiddos to come up with something so extraordinarily unique!

I love the hand print shirts, one-of-a-kind just like them! Love the shirts and love the children.

The hand-holding is as sweet as can be! I cannot wait to see even more!

Loving her Three Things,
Maddy
