Grace had her first haircut this afternoon! We took Grace to a wonderful hair salon called Snip- Its, which specializes in chidren's hair. Grace did an amazing job sitting in the hot pink chair (!!) and she loved looking around at the busy child-friendly atmposhere while her hair was being cut. Once the haircut was over, Grace recieved a certificate for her "bravery," a lock of her hair, and she even received a prize. Mommy was most impressed that the stylist put Grace's hair into a pigtail and wrapped with a pretty pink ribbon. Grace certainly walked out sylin'! You can click on these pictures to enlarge.
The result ~ a very cute new haircut!

Very, very cute! I am amazed that she was not unsettled and/or apprehensive with the new surroundings and a stranger getting so close to her and working with her hair. What is evident is that curiosity and interest won over any other feelings that may have held her back. She enjoys super quickly scoping out her bew environment and finding something interesting at every turn. Life is amazing through the eyes of Grace. We all should all try out her approach. You look very pretty, Grace. We love you tons, Memere
Dearest Grace, You are so pretty! I love your new cute haircut. I like the way nothing is covering those beautiful, blue, sparkly and twinkly eyes of yours. You have such a beautiful and sweet face that a little trim only sets it off even more! You look a lot like your Mommy! I can't wait for us to see you....soon! I want to pick you up and hug (SQUEEZE, lightly of course!)and give you kisses and more kisses! I Love You, Grace Your Maddy XO
PS-Maybe, you'll get so much snow today that it will be taller than you!
