Grace & I came back to Middlebury, Vermont with Maddy & Poppy to support the annual Cystic Fibrosis Three Day Stampede. My brother Adam & I knew a woman at our elementary school who has twin granddaughters and at birth one of the girls was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Her two sets of grandparents have sponsored this annual three day event to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event is a combination of a lawn sale, silent auction, raffle, dance, walk-a-thon, bake sale, and a craft and flea market. There are over fifteen tents of everything you can imagine from furniture to clothes and toys. It is an incredibly coordinated sale with every item sorted by size, color, and category. The volunteers put in an incredible amount of time throughout the year getting ready for this inspiring event. Last year they raised 92,000 dollars! Maddy & Poppy found lots of fun and new things for Grace all while supporting this wonderful cause.
Grace is waving "hi" to Daddy and telling him to get here quickly after work tonight so we can go again tomorrow.

This may be a picture for Daddy, but we can all pretend that it's for us too. Your blue eyes and long eyelashes pop! And those two teeth really show up. Hi back to you.
Hugs and kisses,
Memere
We had so much luck at the sale finding treasures of all sorts. I am glad Grace, that you have some fun new toys and of course some more books! Mommy and I were all into finding JUST the right things to increase your learning stages. I know how difficult it can be to keep up with your learning!
Tell Mommy that even though it was soooo hot I loved bring everything home and cleaning them up for you. And tell Daddy that even though the car was pretty packed---you will be learning so many new things through your play.
Thank you Grace, Mommy and Daddy for coming to Vermont and wanting to be part of this wonderful fundraiser. It really meant a lot to Joan and her family.
Love You Forever Learning Grace!
Maddy
