Salt Dough Christmas Ornaments

We made salt dough Christmas ornaments earlier this week by combining 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of salt with 1 cup of warm water.  Jack and Eve enjoyed kneading the dough and then rolling it flat with rolling pins.  They used a variety of cookie cutter shapes to make their ornaments!

After we were finished making the salt dough ornaments Eve stood at our sink to wash all of the cookie cutters.  Eve has always loved helping me clean up -- she is my littlest helper!

When Grace returned home from school that afternoon she was so excited to make some salt dough ornaments too!  Grace made gingerbread ornaments for all of her classmates and teachers at school.

Creativity and generosity abound in the Leger household. There's always something brewing, some project, some art or craft. And always done with enthusiasm and smiles. Love it!

Grace is amazing. After a day of learning and activities, giving it all 100%, she comes home and throws herself into a project, thinking of who she can share it with. Her classmates and teachers are getting spoiled, lucky them.

Beautiful children and beautiful hearts.

Love to each of you,
XOXOXO,
Memere

It makes my heart soar with love to see these little ones feel the spirit of giving.

I L♥VE a home made Christmas. Thank you, dear Rebecca, for providing this lesson and these values for Eve, Jack, and Grace. Life lessons filled with love. What could be better during this season and throughout the year. That is a gift.

Enjoy the weekend. We're hearing of snow, snow, snow on Sunday and most of next week here in Vermont! Is it coming your way, too! The kiddos would love to have a white Christmas, wouldn't they!

Love, Maddy xox
