The Portland Symphony Orchestra's Trick-or-Treat Concert

Last Sunday afternoon Grace, Jack and I attended the Portland Symphony Orchestra's Trick-or-Treat Symphony concert.  Prior to the show there were performances by the Portland Ballet Company, games and a hands-on "instrument petting zoo."  The children in the audience were asked to come in costume for this festive concert and Grace & Jack were very excited to wear their wings!

The symphony concert was held during Eve's nap time, however, this special event is held every year so we are excited to have little Evie button join us in costume next Halloween!

I knew you were attending this Symphony but I had no-idea that Grace and Jack wore their bird wings! What a wonderful experience for them to attend a Symphony Orchestra performance. How I love that your children have such an incredible relationship with the Arts...don't ever stop...it makes our world go round and our future rounded!

I am looking forward to talking with Gracie and Jack about their feelings about the instruments, the music, the Theater, the Maestro, and the event. Our Little Miss Eveie Button will only add to the excitement next year!

Sending up all of my best~love to our Gracie Girl. Get better real quick...drink lots of fluids, cuddle with Ella, nap when you want to, and read lots of books! Everyone at school must be missing you.
Keep the rest of the team healthy!

This is probably the best way to celebrate Halloween that I've heard of yet. What an incredible combination of art, pageantry, and children. Grace and Jack look the part of elegant, colorful participants with the beautiful, unique costumes made so lovingly by Maddy.

Love you so much,
Memere

Grace, my heart is sad to hear that you were so sick. I send you healing hugs and wellness wishes.
XOXOXO, Memere
