Mashing with Maddy!

Due to the snowstorm today, we all were indoors having a fun day of playing, pretending, singing, dancing, cooking, and eating. Grace helped Maddy make Carrot Cilantro Soup. Yummy!

What a wonderful trip I had to visit Maine to see my sister, brother in law, and of course my beautiful niece. My mother and I throughly enjoyed watching Grace displaying all of her impressive new vocabulary words and hand signs. Grace is such a smart and beautiful little girl. She certainly brings joy and love to my life and all that are with her. We had good time going to the YMCA to see her splashing around during her swimming class. She already is forming strong opinions about her likes of apples, suit ties, school buses and cracking her wood play eggs! Rebecca is such a good mother to her and it makes me feel really proud that she is growing up in a healthy and learning environment. Bob made my visit very comfortable and he keeps us laughing. Grace has a great dad! Thank you again to Rebecca, Bob and Grace for a great vacation.
Love, Uncle Adam

Grace, didnt we have the best time mashing carrots for our soup? I love cooking with you and watching you try new foods and spices....especially red peppers!!!
Just wait, I have a whole collection of recipes that I have been collecting for years just for you and I to try. What about a "snowstorm" cake!? We will have a great time cooking, talking, laughing, wiping, singing, chopping, slicing, dicing and trying our creations together.
I'll find the perfect one for us to try the next time we are together. Thank you, Grace for these special moments. They are the world to me.
I Love You My Little "Red Pepper",
Maddy
