A LADYBUG!
We couldn't believe our eyes as we were walking to the Fryeburg Fair today when we looked down and saw a real ladybug resting on top of Grace's tiny right foot. We had to look twice to make sure what we were seeing was real! The ladybug couldn't have landed in a more perfect place than on our Gracie Girl because she has such an intense love for ladybugs. What made this moment even more unbelievable is that right before we left for the fair, Gracie Girl was walking around our front yard with what we call her "magic ladybug wand" (seen here). The wand has tiny ladybugs on the leaves and Grace loves carrying it around with her. Grace and her wand must both be truly be magical! The picture seen below shows Grace gently touching the lovely ladybug on her foot. Grace was able to get a long look at the ladybug before it flew away.

Magical! All the wonders big and small that you get to see through Gracie Girls eyes!!!
Sounds like a treat. Grace aren’t real lady bugs so tiny? I wonder if it felt tickly crawling along on your foot?
Dear Grace,
I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these pictures! What an experience for you. That little ladybug went from minutes to memories for you (and Mommy & Daddy, too!).
Stay forever curious!
h&k~hugs and kisses
I Love You,
Maddy
PS..Your friend Marie is so nice!
That's incredible that, in such a busy place, a tiny ladybug should land on Grace's little foot. And she's so gentle in touching it! I wonder if she's going to be a scientist, a photographer, an analyst,..... There's no doubt, she's going to be a lover of nature.
Hi Maddy, What kind words! I have had that though about how nice you are too. It is delightful to see how much love surrounds little Grace. The love people have for her is palpable! From her Mommy and Daddy, to her Maddy and Poppy, her Memere and Pepere, her uncle Adam, other family members, friends and many more I am sure I am not even aware of…. It is clear she is both blessed and a blessing, “gracing” this world!
