Twelve Weeks Old

Grace visited her pediatrician this week. She now weighs 12 pounds, 15 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. The doctor gave Grace an "A+" on her overall development and commented on how strong Grace is. Good for you Gracie girl!!

A very special thank you to Maddy for all of Grace's beautiful blankets. Maddy has spent countless hours making all of Grace's blankets. She personalizes each one with a very special touch. Grace always feels close to her Maddy when she is wrapped snuggly in one of her warm blankets.

"How dirty do Mommy & Maddy think I am? Wow, I thought Mommy was a super cleaner but Maddy is a SUPER DUPER cleaner. Mommy & Maddy are always trying to get me into the bath. They think those Clorox wipes are the best things around but just you wait, I'll invent a whole new formula that will make them proud! Double Digits!

Grace is eleven weeks old. Wow! Where has the time gone? Some of Grace's favorite things now are:

• Mouthing toys and her hands -- Grace's hands are a VERY BIG hit right now!
• Sound play with Mommy
• Music -- Mozart symphonies & her personalized Grace CD from Aunt Donna, Uncle Brian, & the Woolner cousins are among Grace's favorites!
• Daily massage time (lucky girl!!!)
• Dancing -- especially the Hokey Pokey
• Looking at pictures and books with Mommy & Daddy -- especially all of the wonderful textured animal books from her Maddy & Poppy
• Watching her fun crib mobile from Memere & Pepere
• ....and of course listening to all of her Daddy's silly songs!

This is a very big day for me -- not only is it my first Valentine's Day but I've also branched out fashion wise. Forget my usual pink, I'm all about red today!

Sitting Pretty

I'm a big girl now. First I sit, next it's solid foods, then off to college by the end of the week! Mommy & Daddy can't believe how much I've grown up already.
I'm a real hard worker. I work every day on holding my head up, rolling over & making sounds - and they tell me I'm doing great!
