Spray Painting Snow!

We enjoyed a warm and sunny day outside today. Grace and Jack had the best time spraying the snowbanks along our road with a spray bottle filled with water and food coloring!

Can you just imagine how much enjoyment people had as they road by and saw colored snow, AND Grace and Jack' names?! Probably as much as the thrills that Grace and Jack had doing it. I think that I'll be looking at snow banks differently, seeing things that are probably not there, like Grace and Jack's names.

Look at Jack standing tall, and with all that snow gear!

Love, kisses, and hugs to each of you, (and tickles to Grace)

Over the weekend, when my brother, Larry was here, he spoke about living in c-o-l-d Minneapolis. He said that the mind-set there is to embrace winter. Folks find ways to get outdoors and have the most fun in the cold as they possibly can. Larry spoke of ice houses, resturants of ice, drinks served in thick ice glasses, ice villages on the lakes, and other amazing things. But, no mention of your spray painting of snow!

I'll be sure to pass this idea on to him!

How I LOVE the ways you make the most of each day and in the simplest ways ever! What happy days Jack and Grace have. Your neighbors and visitors must love to walk or ride by your little patch of neighborhood all year long!
Those smiles are just heart-warming and melting!
Love, Maddy
