We spent this very cold Friday morning (brrr!) collecting eggs, milking a cow and visiting with the newest calves at Pineland Farms. Wishing everyone a happy weekend.

The Olympic Rings
The day before the Olympics in Sochi began Grace, Jack and Eve made their own set of Olympic rings by painting the colors on cut out paper plates. We discussed how the five rings represent the five major regions of the world and how every country in the world has at least one the five colors of the rings represented in their flag.

Winter Wonderland
Jack, on the other hand, wants winter to last forever. He loves everything about it!
Fortunately, we have Eve...she said she would plow our entire driveway (all 350 feet of it!) with her little grader truck this afternoon!

Indoor Soccer Season
Indoor soccer season started the first Saturday in February. Grace and Jack are both playing. This is their first year playing indoors and they love it! Grace and Jack have games every Saturday. Here are a few pictures from the first three games...

Valentine's Day Tea!
My children love to drink tea! This year for Valentine's Day we made heart tags on tea bags to give out as gifts and also to enjoy on Valentine's Day morning. To make these tea bags I choose red paintings that Grace, Jack and Eve painted together for Valentine's Day. I cut out tiny heart shapes from their paintings and replaced the original tea bag tags with their painted hearts. We chose raspberry tea so that the tea would be pink! Here are some pictures of Grace, Jack and Eve enjoying a cup of their Valentine's Day tea this morning...
