We dropped everything today and headed to the lake beach near our home to spend our day at the lake. We have been waiting for the past few weeks for some warmer weather and today was the day! We grabbed a few sand and beach toys, a blanket and a picnic lunch and headed to one of our favorite spots. My favorite part of today was watching Grace and Jack. Simple things in life like catching minnows, splashing water, finding rocks and sticks, watching boats, picnic lunches, building sand castles, collecting clam shells and just being outside bring Grace and Jack such great joy. Days like today are ones that I will always cherish.

Oh, yes and more yes to these irresistible days of Summer!
When you live in northern New England, there isn't a better thing to do than to drop 'everything' and just go with a perfect Summer day! I was talking with Uncle Adam yesterday about water and picnics and rocks and sticks and shells...these are the moments of our lives.
Love these sensational photos of Jack Rabbit and Gracie Pie, Rebecca. Really and truly, you will remember and cherish a day like this forever, and you will be talking to Grace & Jack about it even when they are all-grown-up! Wishing and sending you days and days of moments such as these throughout the Summer. Love way up to those blue skies, Mom/Maddy
