Little Grace Mercie Leger made her appearance at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine at 4:09AM on Saturday, December 2nd, 2006. She entered the world as an 8 pound 13 ounce, 20 inch long beautiful bundle of perfection after 20 hours of labor. Rebecca displayed amazing strength and awe-inspiring determination every second of labor.

I may be a bit biased, but Grace is beyond beautiful. Maddy & I saw her about 10 minutes after she was born. She was in the arms of her dad. Grace was looking directly at Bob. It is an image that will stay with us forever. We are so proud of Bob & Rebecca & Grace.

My erin was 8 lbs 13 oz. and 20 inches long...and arrived after 20 hours of induced labor...I was 10 minutes from a C-section...remember, aside from learning from Grace, major accomplishments of the day are limited to showering and brushing your teeth...for awhile, at least.
It's all worth it, Rebecca. Grace is just beautiful.
