We're Back!

We are back in Maine after spending a wonderful week in Vermont with Maddy and Poppy. I have LOTS of pictures to share with you showing all of the fun we had this past week. I'll start posting some of our pictures tomorrow ~ I'll be unpacking tonight!! Thank you so very much to Maddy and Poppy for an unforgettable week that was full of fun, laughs, smiles, and so many special moments that we will never forget.

It was the best of weeks!
We could never-ever get enough of our Jack & Grace. Grace is so full of imagination, stories, creativity, and sweet love. Jack is so full of smiles, sweet expressions, talking, and knowing EVERYTHING that is said.
Listenting to Grace's stories about ANY subject in the world allows you to see things through the eyes of pure innocence. Watching Jack walk, allows you to understand that even a path across a room can lead you to things unknown.
Oh, the many, many lessons we learned this week about life. Living in the moment and making even those teeny tiny things super exciting. Who knew that icicles, snowy sliding hills, night lights, pesto, opening and closing kitchen cabinets, a step stool, ANY kind of soap, sewing projects, a ukulele, newspaper flyers, and looking out a window watching the neighborhood go by could bring so much pleasure.
This is what living this life of ours is all about. Thank you dear sweet Grace and Jack for this gift.
Our hearts are heavy with missing you. Our hearts are light with the thoughts of our week. We so needed this happiness right now.
Our Most Special Rebecca, we loved spending time with you. You are our very best daughter. How incredible it was for us to spend last Monday with you and our very best and most special son, Adam. We had so many tummy-hurting laughs with Bob....Bob is the funniest person we know.
During this time of trying to let go of my Dad, I am feeling comfort from all of my family and your special qualities that bring me happiness and peace. Thank you.
