The Ukulele!

We arrived in Vermont last Sunday. After the long car ride, Grace and Jack couldn't wait to see Maddy and Poppy. Later that afternoon we all celebrated Christmas together. Grace and Jack had such fun opening their gifts from Maddy and Poppy. The biggest hit of Christmas was receiving a ukulele!
Jack has always loved music and he has always been fascinated by the guitar that his music instructor plays each week at music group. Jack couldn't believe his eyes to see, hold, and play a mini "guitar" just his size. While Jack was in Vermont the ukulele rarely left his side!
Jack wouldn't let go of the beloved ukulele even during his goodnight story time with Maddy! Since returning from Vermont Jack continues to walk all around our house with the ukulele in his hand. Grace can't wait to bring the ukulele to music group this Thursday and play it for her music teacher. Grace loved playing the ukulele for the first time with Poppy.

Thank you so much, Maddy and Poppy, for a beautiful Christmas in Vermont. You brought so much joy and happiness to Grace and Jack.

Merry Vermont Christmas! The gift of the ukulele was truly inspired.
Now the gift continues to give as we watch the excitement and joy that Grace and Jack experience time and time again as they become virtuosos. It is and will be so much fun to follow their explorations.

Happy for you, Grace and Jack!
