We have a wet area in the corner of our backyard, which we refer to as the "frog pond." Grace, Jack and Eve spend countless hours here watching tadpoles grow in the spring to catching frogs in their nets during the summer months. This little area in our yard is so full of life and it is a place that I am so thankful for. What I love most is about this space is that the spring peepers live here. One of my favorite things about early spring is listening to the sound of the spring peepers at night...I do so love falling asleep every night to the sound of the peepers singing their songs. I was so happy to first hear them on Saturday night. Their sound is such a welcome call of spring!
