Painting Initials!

Grace and Jack painted their initials today. First, I drew their initials on contact paper and cut them out. Next, I firmly stuck the initials onto watercolor paper. Grace and Jack chose their colors and then used their fingers to paint over their initials. Once their paintings dried I carefully peeled off the contact paper to reveal their initials. I put their beautiful initial paintings in a frame and it is something I will treasure forever!

Along with these wonderful, artsy initials are these awesome pictures of the little artists enjoying every moment, every swirl of this project. Indeed, this is a time and an art piece to treasure.
With a heart swelling with love and gratitude,
