Fingerpainting "Rain"

With the exception of Monday, it has been raining ALL week! When we woke up this morning it was pouring quite loudly outside. I thought it would be fun for Jack to finger paint "rain" using blue paint outside on our porch while listening to the rain fall outside. Jack loves a song from music group called Drip Drop. Grace and I created lots of Jack giggles while singing this rain song to him as he painted. Jack had a great time finger painting and he created quite a rain storm on his paper! Just as Jack was finishing his painting the clouds cleared and the sun began shining. Thank you, Jack, for always bringing sunshine to our lives!

I don't know of any other almost six month old child who does finger paint. And the amazing thing is how Jack persevered to create such an extensive painting.
It definitely looks like the down pours of rain that we've seen this past week.
Hooray for Jack!

Jack is so happy to be working with his hands. He has such a fun time creating all of his masterpieces!
Moments like these make me want to just take a deep breath and enjoy every minute, just like Jack.
I adore his painting. It will look so inspiring hanging in your home.
