Our Beautiful Gracie Girl

Grace woke up about a half hour before Jack did this morning. While waiting for "Jack-a-roo-roos" to wake up, Grace decided to sit at her art table. Grace worked quietly for a long time using her scissors, markers, a hole puncher, stickers, and marker dots. Once Grace was finished she showed Bob & I several beautifully decorated scraps of paper and told us that they were for Baby Jack. What a sweet little girl. Grace adores her baby brother and we are so very proud of the loving daughter, big sister, and person that our Gracie girl is.

You cannot believe how much this little story and these pictures warm my Maddy heart! Grace shows us exactly what life is all about. Love, warmth, caring, giving, sharing.....
Bob and Rebecca, you are giving Grace these gifts by your love and example. There aren't enough riches in this entire world greater than this sweet heart of Grace.
Jack and Grace are two of the luckiest children in the world. I cannot wait to talk with Grace all about these things!
Thank you soooo much for sharing all of this specialness about Grace on a Sunday morning.
Love, Maddy

Baby Jack sure will appreciate those sweet gestures from his big sister's creativity. How special it is that she was thinking about Jack and was able to express herself through her artwork. I hope Maddy and Poppy are ready for arts and crafts!

With Grace's imagination, creativity, and skills, these little pieces of paper went from scraps to treasures that not only Jack, but all of us, deem as treasures. She obviously couldn't do enough for her baby brother. Such love!
