Happy Valentine's Day!

Grace celebrated the night before Valentine's day in a way most girls only dream of. Grace had a candlelit dinner followed by a candlelit bubble bath before she drifted off to a peaceful sleep.....all that and only fourteen months old. The real story is that we lost electricity due to the big snow & ice storm that we had yesterday but we didn't let Grace know. She certainly celebrated the arrival of Valentine's day in style! By the way, the power came back on today which made Mommy very, very, very happy but I'm not sure Grace agreed. ;)

What a great day you had. You look absolutely adorable. We love your hair pulled to the side like that =) Also, we noticed the book you were reading..."Goodnight Moon." We LOVE that book. (Mommy and Daddy have that one memorized). MJ really liked that book a lot when she was your age. She still likes it, but has new favorites now that she is older. That book which we read to her from birth, helped to cause her to take notice of the Moon outside. We would look for it and say Goodnight to it. Matt and I even found ourselves taking notice of the moon even when MJ wasn't around =) We still look for the moon and now MJ asks the moon to follow her as we drive, and if it isn't visible, she asks it to stop hiding and come out.

Thanks for letting me share all of this with you all...Reading really is so much fun.

Lots of Love, M,M, and M

How Romantic for the Leger Family!!
I just bet that Cupid pulled the plug!

My Most Dearest Grace,
What a treat to see these beautiful pictures of our little Valentine. You are a candy heart, a chocolate in a box, a bunch of perfect roses and a love song all wrapped up with a satin hot pink and spring green bow. So special and so beautiful.
I Love You On Heart Day With My Whole Heart,
Maddy
I Love the Ladybugs on Your Heart.

Cute pictures. I love the one of Grace laying on the couch. When I first saw it I thought she looked like her Poppy (my brother Walt) in the face and eyes. That is the first time I looked at a picture of Grace and said "that's Walt when he was little". So cute. Glad you got the power back on...glad Grace had a wonderful Valentine's Day. Love you all.
