Groundhog Day! Every year we make groundhogs and bring them outside to see whether we have six more weeks of winter or an early spring. Our groundhogs here in Scarborough, Maine did not see their shadows yesterday morning and they have predicted an early spring for us. Hooray! Although, yesterday was a snow day and we had another very big snowstorm. We could got about another foot of snow yesterday. Add that to the snow from Friday's storm and Tuesday's blizzard and that is A LOT of snow. I sure hope those groundhogs of ours are right about an early spring!

I'll happily support the groundhog's prediction. It's going to pretty hard for crocuses to push their heads through all this snow.
What winter bunnies Gracce, Jack, and Eve are! Not deterred one bit by the mounds of snow.
