I took Grace, Jack and Eve to this peaceful spot yesterday to try to catch autumn leaves falling from the trees. I have always heard that if you catch a falling leaf it brings happiness and good luck. We tried and tried (and tried!) yesterday...it's actually much harder than you would think and
so much more fun than it sounds. We found ourselves smiling and laughing uncontrollably while running from tree to tree. We had the best time with this and catching falling leaves has become our new favorite autumn activity. You should give it a try! When you are out walking, keep your eye out for falling leaves. It guaranteed to make you smile and as soon as you try it you won't be able to stop! :)

I can imagine how much fun and laughter you shared while trying to catch a falling leaf. Guess what, I did it twice all ready this October! The tree right out front was dropping it's leaves the other day in a gentle breeze which made it perfect for catching. Wow, that must mean that I will have so much good luck that I won't even know what to do with it all!!
What a picturesque path--it's perfect for an Autumn walk and a leaf catch. I love the freedom and peace that this photo brings. Children being children and living life to it's fullest. You are such a good Mama, Rebecca, to go out after school on a Friday afternoon and laugh with your little ones.

What fun and what a challenge! There have been a lot of leaves falling, so I'm going to go out and try my best to try to catch at least one.
Now when I see falling leaves, I will indeed smile because I will have this photo in my mind's eye, welling up the love that is in my heart for each of you.
