Painting With Frozen Paint Cubes!

Yesterday we poured different colors of paint into an ice cube tray, added popsicle sticks to each cube for a handle, and froze the paint cubes overnight. Jack and Grace used the frozen paint cubes to paint this morning. This was an exciting new way to paint! Here is Jack's finished frozen paint cube painting. Once the paint dries I am going to frame Jack's work and display it in his room! Grace enjoyed painting on a large poster board. Grace loved how the frozen paint cubes became more vibrant on her paper as they melted.
Here is Grace's finished frozen paint cube painting. I love how she covered every inch of the poster board with paint. Grace can't wait to hang her beautiful painting above her art table once it dries.

Oh, Rebecca, you are thinking of the most fun ideas for the kiddos to do inside on all of these rainy days!
I love their paintings. Jack's will love looking at his masterpiece in his room and remembering the fun he had. Grace's painting will also become a treasured memory for her. It is magical.
Have fun watching the raindrops and dash outdoors in between them.
I can't wait to see all of your other "rainy day" activities this week!
    Love, Mom

  2. Amazing! Amazing idea AND art work. It must have been wondrous to see the process and then the end results. Grace and Jack, your paintings are better than many I have seen in museums.
    Love you,

  3. Beautiful!

Beautiful idea by Rebecca and beautiful work by Jack and Grace. Jack is painting like a star and Grace's work is worth of the Musee d'Orsay.

    I love you Team Members.
